Graphing, solving equation, asymptotes
In order To graph a function with an asymptote you need to use 7 steps
1.Simplify the equation
2.find the y-intercept
3.find the x- intercept
4. find the vertical asymPtotes and holes
5.find other asymPtotes
6.plot points
7. Graph
This picture is showing a parabola and two growth exponential graphs. It also shows the horizontal and vertical asymptotes on the graph.
Asymptote: A line that continually approaches a given curve but does not meet it at any finite distance.
